On the second day of The Battle in The Voice of the Philippines Season 2, Coach Sarah Geronimo started the showdown with vocal flexibility of two belters from her team, Shaira Opsimar vs Monique Lualhati. Singing the song Lady Marmalade of Patti LaBelle that later made it more as a pop song by the singers Christina Aguilera, Lil’ Kim, Mya and Pink. Before the actual Battle Round, Shaira said that Monique excels with the song. The two belted out their best just to be in the KnockOut Round under the Team Sarah.
Coaches Lea Salonga and Bamboo selected Monique who did her best in the showdown while Apl.de.Ap the dancing was Shaira. But Sarah said that the person whom she will be taking the next round is Monique.
Sadly, no one used their power to steal to give Shaira another chance in the competition.
