Team Teddy Corpuz, Billy Crawford and Jugs Jugueta or TBJ was announced as the champion of Magpasikat in connection with the It’s Showtime’s 5th Anniversary. Their presentation was Whatchamacall8 game show which they did last Friday (October 24) together with James Reid and Nadine Lustre as part of the group. The Whatchamacall8 game show was a spoof of different game shows including TV commercials they included on their presentation. The judges Pops Fernadez, Jim Paredes and Cherie Gil enjoyed their presentation despite of the netizens’ mixed opinions about it.
Team TBJ won Php 300,000 for their chosen charity. Meanwhile, the team of Vhong Navarro and Jhong Hilario that presented an interpretative dance that tells the story of friendship won 2nd place with Php 200,000 for their chosen charity. And the team Anne Curtis and Coleen Garcia was 3rd placer with their performance sound mixing and air dance that won Php 100,000 for their chosen charity.
Meanwhile, the heartwarming performance of Team Vice Ganda and Ryan Bang that talks about equality won consolation prize of Php 50,000 for their chosen charity and also Team Karylle and Kuya Kim’s DIY science and music performance.
It’s Showtime airs on ABS-CBN on weekdays at 12:30 PM and on Saturdays at 12 NN.
