In The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, one of the recent episode was having the iconic singer-songwriter Sting on the show. With his fantastic voice which we admired during the golden years of The Police in the music industry and later when he go solo the quality of his music remains the same, Jimmy Fallon the host of the show dared Sting if he can sing his version of the classic ringtones. Sting was excited to do the dare and three ringtones played include iPhone’s Marimba, Xylo, and the Nokia classic ringtone.
Jimmy called it the Sting’s version of the ringtones as StingTones which the audience agreed. And aside from the fun that Sting gave during his dare and interview in connection with the musical entitled The Last Ship which an original musical with music and lyrics by Sting that will be presented again on October 26, 2014.
Meanwhile, being the dare of Jimmy to Sting is about ringtone they call one of the audience where Sting sang the person’s personalized voicemail message. Here’s the video of the ringtone and voicemail recording.
Aside from being a singer and songwriter, Sting is also known for being activist and philanthropist supporting Amnesty International, protecting the indigenous peoples, conservation of the environment and fund raising for the American Red Cross.
