After we enjoyed the memes of Princess Sarah with her friends and different lines about potatoes, ABS-CBN decided to bring back the most loved cartoon in the 90s Sarah Ang Munting Prinsesa. It was originally aired in Japan in the 1985 under the production of Nippon Animation and Aniplex, based on Frances Hodgson Burnett’s novel, A Little Princess. It became a morning habit to the viewers of ABS-CBN in the 90s and now it will return on the Kapamilya network on October 13.
The show is about the joy and sufferings of Sarah Crewe, from being the rich girl in a boarding school became a helper in the story after the death of her father and can no longer send money. She became friends with fellow helpers Becky and Peter, and some of the students including Lottie and Ermengarde. She face the wrath of the headmistress Miss Minchin after discovering what happen to her father.
It will be a good news for the supporter of Princess Sarah who saw the show in the 90s and for others who will see it for the very first time. Aside from Sarah Ang Munting Prinsesa, ABS-CBN will be airing the re-run of Marcelino Pan Y Vino, another well-loved cartoon that tackles values.
