Once again social media declared another false holiday which netizens believed it is true until they read the full article. Everyone thought that October 31 will be a non-working holiday after everyone shared on their Facebook and Twitter account an article from Inquirer confirming that the said date will be a holiday. The article was published last Oct. 11 and unfortunately it was dated 2011 and not 2014. At first netizens celebrate on their respective accounts and shared it on their timeline. Until those who read the article replied it was 3 years ago.
And Malacanang already ruled that October 31 will be a regular working day and for some schools. It will be the decision of the company or academe if they wanted to suspend or to make Oct 31 half day for non-operations or half day classes only for schools. The confirmation that the eve of All Saints Day is a regular working day was made by Presidential Communications Operations Office Secretary Herminio Coloma Jr. in his interview via a radio program.
