After the heartwarming confrontation between Cherie Gil and Vice Ganda in It’s Showtime last October 23, they officially became #BFFs or best friends forever. It started when Cherie was invited to be one of the judges or hurados of the show during the Magpasikat week and Vice was scheduled with his performance with Ryan Bang last Thursday. Unlike the usual presentation of Vice that’s breathtaking, colorful and witty, he presented a heartwarming song number which he wrote. He sang the song together with Ryan, That’s My Tomboy winner Epey Herher and differently-abled people and sick children. The song is about equality, love and understanding.
After the performance, Cherie gave her comment to Vice but it was more of a personal message giving her apology to the comedian and host of It’s Showtime. She said she’s sorry for judging him before after a comedy stint he did and not understanding him. According to her she now sees the other side of Vice aside from being a comedian. And Vice immediately said he was not hurt and Cherie doesn’t need to apologize.
