The long wait is over NBC, Donald J. Trump and Paula M. Shugart, president of the Miss Universe Organization officially announced last Oct 2 (US Time) that the next Miss Universe pagent or the 63rd Miss Universe competition will happen on January 25, 2015 in Florida, USA. The competition will takes place in Florida International University located in Doral-Miami.
The said competition will be joined by the beautiful ladies all over the world who waited for the competition more than a year after the organizer of Miss Universe decided not to have this year. The contestants will be from the 2014 winners from their respective countries including MJ Lastimosa from the Philippines where the country consistently joining the runner up spots from Venus Raj, Shamcey Supsup, Janine Tugonon and Ariella Arida. Whill the Philippines hit the runner up spot again or will it finally take home the crown where as last year aside from Miss Earth, Miss Universe were the only competition where we didn’t won. Miss World 2013 was brought home by Megan Young, Bea Rose Santiago for Miss International 2013, Mutya Datul for Miss Supranational 2013, and Miss Tourism International 2013 which was Angeli Dione Gomez.
Meanwhile, currently crowned Miss Universe 2013 or the winner of the 62nd Miss Universe pageant who was Gabriela Isler of Venezuela will be extending her reign until Jan. 25, 2015. She was crowned last November 9, 2013 at the Crocus City Hall in Krasnogorsk, Moscow Oblast, Russia.
The 63rd Miss Universe pageant will be telecast in Spanish on Telemundo and respective countries. Here in the Philippines it might be broadcasted by ABS-CBN Channel 2 and cable channel Star World just like in 2013.
