In line with the production of Andres Bonifacio, Unang Pangulo that will be released as of the entries fro the 2014 Metro Manila Film Festival this Christmas, Robin Padilla who plays the lead cast and part of the producers explained why Kathryn Bernardo is part of the autobiography movie. In an Instagram post dated September 12 Robin posted Kathryn and Daniel Padilla’s photo from the 8th Star Magic Ball with his explanation:
The text says: “Ang RCP productions ng inyong lingkod at RP studio ni kuya rommel ay humihingi ng paumanhin sa lahat ng mga lupon at tagahanga ni DJ Padilla at Kathryn Bernardo sa usapin ng hindi namin maibibigay ang kanilang kahilingan na magkasama ang Hari at ang Reyna sa Pelikulang Andres Bonifacio, unang Pangulo.Hindi po dahil sa hindi namin ito ninais o plano o hindi inasahan na maganap,kundi dahil po sa usapin na si kathryn ay mayroon nang enrty na pelikula sa paparating na Metro Manila Film Festival.”
The RCP Production is the production firm headed by Robin while the RP Production is with Rommel Padilla, the brother of Robin and father of Daniel. Andres Bonifacio, Unang Pangulo was the 2nd film produced bu RCP where Kathryn is not included to be Daniel’s partner the first one was Sa Ngalan Ng Ama, Ina at ng mga Anak.
The supporters of Kathryn and Daniel or popularly known as the KathNiels understood Robin where Kathryn is part of another 2014 MMFF movie which according to report it will be in the Feng Shui horror film of Kris Aquino and Coco Martin where Daniel was also considered before.
