In the continuation of my “Electrolux Save & Share Blog Series” which part of the Electrolux Delightful-E simple campaign I had the chance to interview two more celebrity ambassadors of Electrolux which are Cheska Garcia Kramer and Chef Rosebud Benitez. Last time I had the chance to chit-chat with Chef Bruce Lim and Mommy Mundo’s Janice Villanueva on their views about the advocacy and donating clothes, I did ask the same thing with Cheska and Chef Rose but this time more intimate because they are both mothers and how they teach their kids the act of sharing at the early age.
As we count down to Holiday Season, everyone aside from receiving gifts this is also the time of sharing our blessings to our loved ones and most especially to those who are in need. Cheska and Chef Rose shared their stories on how they teach their kids the act of sharing.
According to Chef Rose it is important to teach their kids to share even during their toddler years. With her son, she describe it by teaching him to share his toys with other kids, or even food. “We should teach them to be selfless and unselfish.” Chef Rose said. Cheska agreed with Chef Rose when she said selfless, according to her she explained Kendra and Scarlet watch her every time they had activity that involves sharing and later when they asked questions she explain it to her. In this way Cheska caught the interest of her children to be part of the activity after seeing it.
And with Electrolux Clothes Donation Advocacy where the main beneficiaries include babies and younger children, Chef Rose said that she’s very excited about this campaign because there are so many people out there who are really in need. It’s one of her great way of sharing her blessings with others. Meanwhile Cheska remembers Yolanda a year ago where she donated so many clothes and she’s excited with the campaign according to her she have clothes to donate especially those were used by her children. She also suggest that if there we old and damage clothes they can cut it and make it a blanket just like how Chef Rose said that old costumes can be made to quilts.
