One of the films that we should look forward this 2015 in the film adaptation of Tony Award winning musical Into The Woods directed by Rob Marshall and features a power cast including Meryl Streep, Emily Blunt, James Corden, Anna Kendrick, Chris Pine, Lilla Crawford, Daniel Huttlestone, Tracey Ullman, Christine Baranski, Mackenzie Mauzy, Billy Magnussen, and Johnny Depp. Into the Woods will be released on December 25, 2014 in US and other territories and here in the Philippines because it is local festival film season Walt Disney Studios Motion Pictures International through Columbia Pictures will be showing the film on January 21, 2015.
Into The Woods is a twisted musical that features various characters from the Brothers Grimm fairy tales where there wishes of the characters interweave with each other and lead to certain consequences that created a fun, and mind boggling plot. Disney brought together musically inclined actors headed by Streep from Mamma Mia, Depp from Sweeney Todd and Corpse Bride, and Kendrick from The Last 5 Years and Pitch Perfect. The three will be playing the role of the witch, wolf and Cinderella respectively.

Aside from the three, other Grimms character featured in the film are Little Red Riding Hood (Crawford), Jack (Huttlestone), Rapunzel (Mauzy) and the baker and his wife (Corden and Blunt).
