Two of the top grossing films of Star Cinema will be having a comeback on the big screen for the 2014 Metro Manila Film Festival (MMFF) that will be happening on Christmas, December 25. Films include Feng Shui that stars Kris Aquino that was screened in 2004 that earned Php 137.56 million and The Unkabogable Praybeyt Benjamin of Vice Ganda that was shown in cinemas last 2011 and earned more than Php 332 million.
The two films will be returning on the big screen this Christmas with a sequel and having the lead stars on it. The Feng Shui 2 that will still have Kris will be joined by Coco Martin meanwhile in Praybeyt Benjamin 2, Richard Yap will be joining Vice Ganda.
There’s no announcement of the storyline yet of the two sequels but it will surely keep the genre on which the two movies are known for. Meanwhile other competing films included at the 2014 MMFF are Kubot: The Aswang Chronicles 2, Bonifacio, Gusto Mo Ba Syang Makilala?, Magnum Muslim .357, My Big Bossing’s Adventures, Shake, Rattle & Roll 15 and English Only Please.
The 2014 MMFF is spearheaded by the Metro Manila Development Authority (MMDA).
