It has been more than 5 years since the King of Pop left his fans and supporters physically, but Michael Jackson’s music will continue to live on and passing it to one generation to another. His upbeat songs Beat It, Billie Jean, and Thriller will continue to hit the airwaves and even in various digital platforms including his heart warming and touching hit songs Man In The Mirror, I Just Can’t Stop Loving You, Heal The World, Childhood, Earth Song and You Are Not Alone. As tribute to his legacy, Epic Records and Sony Music Entertainment release his second posthumous albums after the album Michael that was released last December 2010.
Entitled Xscape, the album will continue the musical legacy of Michael Jackson and will be featuring eight new tracks, which the world will be hearing for the very first time. This was made possible by the Estate of Michael Jackson who granted Epic an unlimited access to the treasures representing four decades of material on which Jackson had completed his vocals.
Epic Records Chairman and CEO L.A. Reid described the process they did is “contemporizing” where he worked with Timbaland on this project along with global hitmakers including Rodney Jerkins, Stargate, Jerome “Jroc” Harmon and John McClain. Songs included in the Xscape album are Love Never Felt So Good, Chicago, Loving You, A Place With No Name, Slave to the Rhythm, Do You Know Where Your Children Are, Blue Gangsta and Xscape.
There will be two versions of Xscape which are standard and the Deluxe edition that includes all of the sourced Michael Jackson recordings in the original form. It is now available via iTunes.com/MichaelJackson distributed by Ivory Music & Video, the exclusive licensee of Sony Music in the Philippines.
