The Vhong Navarro magic continues as his comeback dark comedy film in Star Cinema hits Php 17 M on its first day. Da Possessed kicked off in cinemas nationwide last Black Saturday or April 19 where it celebrates the return of Vhong to the big screen with Star Cinema since his Bulong project in 2011. He was joined by Solenn Heussaff, Joey Marquez, Smokey Manaloto, John Lapus, Matet De Leon, Empoy Marquez, and Beverly Salviejo.
This was another triumph for Vhong after rape charges that Deniece Cornejo filed against him was junked by the Department of Justice and Taguig Metropolitan Trial Court issuance of warrant of arrest for the grave coercion case that he filed against Deniece, Cedric Lee and other 6 more friends.
Meanwhile, Da Possessed marks the first ever tandem of Vhong and Solenn where the actress confirmed that she admired the actor for his talent as a comedian and his dancing skills. Vhong plays the role of Ramon who releases the three spirits who seek justice and ended up possessing him in order to communicate to the human world. His love interest is Annal (Solenn), the person who hired them to do a landscaping project on an old building where Ramon discovered the three spirits.
