Top rating afternoon TV show It’s Showtime will be pausing from all the fun and games this April 14-16 to air 3-day drama specials that will serve as a reflection as we enter Holy Week. The show will be presenting different stories of some of the contestants of Stars on 45, Kalokalike and That’s My Tomboy that touches our hearts. It will be real life stories to be portrayed by the It’s Showtime hosts including Karylle, Vice Ganda, Billy Crawford, Vhong Navarro, and Coleen Garcia who will be doing lead roles in the 3-day Holy Week special.
On April 14, Karylle will be doing the story of Stars on 45 grand champion Haydee Manosca, while Billy will be doing the character of second runner-up Charlie Fry. They will be sharing the story on how they struggle in life and wanted to reach their dreams despite of their age.
Continuing the inspirational stories of Stars on 45, Vica will be portraying the role of wildcard finalist Reuben Quilantang. It will be airing on April 15 and Vice will share the journer of Reuben on the things that he had to go through before taking the limelight.
Finally on April 16 it will be a back to back story where Coleen will be playing the role of Chucks Ledbetter, a finalist in That’s My Tomboy. And Vhong will be doing the story of Mark Tyler Dela Cruz his Kalokalike. Vhong shared that he didn’t expect that he would find it hard to interpret and act out his Kalokalike’s life experiences.
Also joining in the Holy Week special on It’s Showtime are Jhong Hilario, Kuya Kim Atienza, Teddy Corpuz, Jugs Jugueta, Ryan Bang, at Eruption. It’s Showtime airs on ABS-CBN at 12:15pm weekdays after Be Careful With My Heart.
