It been more than a year since Apl de Ap of Black-Eyed Peas and The Voice of the Philippines became the front liner of Red Ribbon’s Macaroons for A Cause together with Franklin Baker Company. With the help of Apl’s foundation, Red Ribbon will be reaching out to the students on Mindanao who were victims of conflicts and displacements to help them have a better schools which includes classrooms and educational materials.
The funds will be raised from the macaroons sold at the Red Ribbon stores. It is Php 50 per pack (10 pieces) and percentage of the earnings will go for the campaign. And Zamboanga was the first target to be the recipient of the campaign and they will be building classrooms to cater the students.
In line with the overwhelming support that Red Ribbon is getting they will be giving back to their supporters who take part of the Macaroons for a Cause.
