From doing Master Class and Nine, multi-awarded actress and fashion icon Cherie Gil returns to the Carlos P. Romulo Auditorium to do one-woman play based on the anecdote of Diana Vreeland entitled Full Gallop. Now in its last two days for a limited time only presentation, theater goers and supporters of Cherie can still watch her on March 21 at 8:00 p.m. at March 24 at 4:00 p.m.
Presented by MyOwn Mann Productions, Inc. and Actor’s Actors Inc., in the Philippines, the Full Gallop is under the direction of Bart Guingona. Written by Mary Louise Wilson and Mark Hampton, Full Gallop shows a monologue of Vreeland inside in her apartment in Park Avenue. Fresh from her European tour from England, Milan and Paris she recounts her tour and also the years of her career as editor in Harper’s Bazaar and Vogue magazines, and as a member of the International Cafe Society. The one-woman play is a collaboration of narration of Vreeland’s life with sarcasm and humor to make the presentation lively and catchy for the theater goers.
