After more than one week of the incident that involves Vhong Navarro, Deniece Cornejo and Cedric Lee, another side came out through the Buzz ng Bayan in the persona of Rodrigo Cornejo, Deniece’ grandfather. He was the person on a photo of Deniece, who is a former GMA 7 executive and on the same photo everyone thought that it was Attorney Felipe Gozon the President of GMA 7 was the person referred as Deniece’s grandfather.
In an interview with Buzz ng Bayan through Boy Abunda, he said that people should know her granddaughter first before judging her. He said that Deniece told him that he was raped by Vhong. When asked why he came out and express his side, Rodrigo said that it was her granddaughter who is the victim in the said incident and needed his help.
Meanwhile, Deniece is 22 years old model who is also have online business that sells bags and accessories. She did various stint on TV including Dugong Buhay on ABS-CBN. The incident happened between Vhong, Deniece and Cedric was in January 22 in a condominium in Taguig City where allegedly according to Deniece she was raped by Vhong and Cedric was there for her rescue. But in the full statement of Vhong in Buzz ng Bayan he clarified he didn’t raped Deniece instead her was physically assaulted by Cedric with his friends.
Up to that the case that involves the three personalities is currently in NBI that includes the CCTV footages.
