Four years after the success of How To Train Your Dragon, DreamWorks Animation and 20th Century Fox will be releasing the sequel of the 3D computer-animated action fantasy film loosely based from the book series of the same name by Cressida Cowell. How To Train Your Dragon 2 was written and directed by Dean DeBlois and features the voices of Jay Baruchel, Gerard Butler, Craig Ferguson, America Ferrera, Jonah Hill, T.J. Miller, Kristen Wiig and Christopher Mintz-Plasse.
After 5 years of becoming friends, Hiccup (Baruchel) and Toothless will be facing another challenge and adventure that will be opening them a new world and culture of dragons after meeting a mysterious Dragon Rider named Valka (Cate Blanchett) She’s the savior of the wild dragons in a hidden place where Hiccup discovered during their exploration of unmapped territories and exploring new worlds. They will also meet Drago Bludvist (Djimon Hounsou) and Eret (Kit Harrington) both dragon hunters together with the rest of the Vikings who wanted to capture dragons and conquer nearby territories.
How To Train Your Dragon 2 will be landing in theaters nationwide beginning June 11, 2014 under DreamWorks Animation and 20th Century Fox presentation to be distributed by Warner Bros Pictures.
