From the box office success of the epic action film 300 in 2007, Warner Bros. Pictures brings the sequel of the graphic novel created by Frank Miller and adapted to the big screen now entitled 300: Rise of an Empire. Directed by Noam Murro and screenplay of Zack Snyder who directed 300 will now take the moviegoers to a more action-packed film to seek revenge to the Persian mortal-god Xerxes played by Rodrigo Santoro.
Coming from the mourning of the Spartans after the death of the 300 Spartan army headed by Leonidas, now headed by Themistocles (Sullivan Stapleton) he will lead his men to put end on the reign of Xerxes and his army. Now with Artemesia (Eva Green), vengeful commander of the Persian navy the Spartans will surely have a more action-packed battle especially it is now set at the straits between the mainland and the northern tip of the island of Euboea. The film will also tell the transformation of Xerxes on how he became the God King.
