After being on air for more than 17 years and providing TV viewers with alternative content including youth oriented shows, foreign talk shows, series and reality entertainment, Studio 23 will now be saying goodbye to its old format and will be entering the active world of sports. Tagged as Kabakrada Mo, Studio 23 will be leaving the said format until in the midnight of January 17 as it signs off on TV and on January 18 the new era will start together with ABS-CBN Sports.
The new format will deal mostly with the strength of Studio 23 in providing live coverage of sports which became the home of the University Athletics Association of the Philippines (UAAP) and National Collegiate Athletics Association (NCAA) that made the channel closer to the younger generations. In the full throttle of the new format that will star on Jan 18, Studio 23 will broadcasting more sports inclined content including the NBA coverage and other boxing fight
