From the suspension issue during the height of the Typhoon Haiyan after she gave a strong statement against the CNN Anchor Anderson Cooper, Korina Sanchez is now facing another rumor that she will be leaving the station and transferring rival network. The said rumor started when she said goodbye to her radio show Rated Korina in DZMM to give way to the tandem of Marc Logan and Amy Perez with their latest morning show entitled Sakto. According to some of the reports that circulated in various newspapers and online articles that Korina will be next to say goodbye to her Sunday show Rated K and now on talks with the other station. In regards with these rumors, ABS-CBN through its spokesperson Bong Osorio issued the official statement of the network and its says:
Korina Sanchez is currently on leave from her morning program on DZMM to concentrate on her postgraduate studies at the Ateneo de Manila University. This was planned as early as middle of 2013 when Korina informed ABS-CBN management about her intentions to focus on her studies. Korina will continue to be seen on television as anchor of “TV Patrol” and “Rated K.”
The said statement was given early this afternoon. With this the network secured the followers of the veteran broadcaster that she will be seen in her as anchor in TV Patrol from Monday to Friday and her Sunday news magazine show Rated K in ABS-CBN.
