Following the back to back success of Miss Supranational 2013 Mutya Datul and Miss World 2013 Megan Young is the newly crowned Miss International 2013 Bea Rose Santiago. Happened in Tokyo Japan, Bea secured the 3 straight beauty queen title for the Philippines for 2013 and became the fourth Filipina to win the title after Precious Lara Quigaman (2005), Melanie Marquez (1979) and Aurora Pijuan (1970).
Completing the runner ups are1st runner up – Ms. Netherlands, 2nd runner up – Ms. New Zealand, 3rd runner up – Ms. Colombia and 4th runner up – Ms. Hungary. Meanwhile in other beauty pageants Philippines got 3rd place in Miss Universe 2013 with Ariella Arida, and Koreen Medina also 3rd runner up in Miss Intercontinental 2013.
This year it became a huge success for the Philippine delegates for winning titles and top spots.
