After Alicia Keys visiting the survivors of the recent Super Typhoon Haiyan (Yolanda) at the Villamor Air Base late November where she included in her itinerary for her Manila Concert, pop singer Justin Bieber visited Tacloban City to give smiles at the same time deliver the funds he raised from the donations from his friends and supporters amounting more than $500, 000 which will be given to Unicef, Action Hunder and Philam Foundation.
The 19-year-old Canadian singer arrived in Manila around 7 a.m of December 10 through his private plane at Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA) Terminal 2 and proceeds to Tacloban City. At Tacloban, Justin Bieber interacts with the children by playing basketball at the same time performing at them which he mentioned to his Twitter as his most important Believe Tour he will be doing. The funds that he gave to the three humanitarian organizations will focus on the building of shelter, medical care, clean water, safe sanitation, and the building of schools for Yolanda survivors.
Justin Bieber started his campaign to raise funds for the survivors of Typhoon Yolanda when he start the #GiveBackPhilippines where donors will have the chance to hangout with him on the studio where he records his song and the graffiti Pray 4 Philippines in a wall of Los Angeles where he did it with his friends.
The said effort of Justin Bieber to visit the country was supported by Smart Communications Inc., PLDT and TV 5 which a joint partner of the HelpPH campaign in order to raise funds for the benefit of the survivors in the Yolanda affected areas in Visayas region.
