At first Senator Juan Ponce Enrile together with his fellow senators are listening to the privilege of Senator Miriam Defensor Santiago entitled “Navigating the Crimes of the Plunder Mastermind” earlier today (December 4). In her speech, Santiago started to throw accusations to Enrile that made him smile with sarcasm and show no interest with the message that his fellow lawmaker is talking about. Santiago accused her of being the drama king of corrupt politics and the king of smuggling empire being part of the pork barrel scam.
Santiago never stopped there when she mentioned that the Department of Justice should investigate Enrile on the different cases of deaths and disappearances during Martial Law. Enrile started to focus on his device and played Bejeweled to show no interest at all on Santiago’s speech who was just in front of him. Santiago noticed him and she mentioned professionalism and mentioning that Enrile rather listening on the session he is playing with his tablet.
While playing Bejeweled, Enrile gives Santiago a short look who continuously talking in front but still no interest at all even he was accused of being a womanizer. At the end irritated Senator Defensor Santiago challenged him to a debate with former Senator Ping Lacson in a televised debate at Malcolm Theater in UP Diliman rather than throwing her with accusations.
