In line with the growing efforts of different sectors and organizations here in the Philippines and also abroad to reach out to the Super Typhoon Yolanda affected families in the Visayas region, SMART Communications Inc launches HelpPH campaign that will enable Filipinos abroad to send their donations via airtime load mobile and online options. This process was made possible by SMART through their mobile money service team called BayadLoad which was approved by the Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas (the Philippine Central Bank).
Now those in abroad particularly in Australia, Bahrain, Belgium, Brunei, Canada, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, United Kingdom,Greece, Hong Kong, India, Iran, Ireland, Israel, Italy, Japan, Jordan, Kuwait, Macau, Malaysia, Netherlands, New Zealand, Nicaragua, Norway, Oman, Qatar, South Korea, Saudi Arabia, Singapore, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Taiwan, Turkey, United Arab Emirates, and the Vatican City can now send their donations via mobile by just texting the corresponding syntax in their respective mobile network in their territories listed at the www.help.ph.
Meanwhile, other options for donating through the HelpPH campaign are telegraphic transper and online payment through the partner payment sites including Aryty, Ezetop, Oks Pinoy, and Pay Pilipinas.
Lastly, for Filipinos here in the Philippines they can take part on the HelpPH mobile donations by texting HELPPH (amount: 10, 25, 50, 100, 300, 500 or 1000) to 5353 for SMART, Talk N Text and Sun Cellular subscribers.
Proceeds will go directly to the partner organizations of the Philippine Disaster Recovery Foundation (PDRF) which headed the HelpPH campaign. Partner organizations include Caritas Manila, PLDT-Smart Foundation, Maynilad Water Services, Philippine Red Cross, Gawad Kalinga, Habitat for Humanity, One MERALCO Foundation and Philippine Contractors Association (PCA).
