After their successful return in the Philippines last September of this year with the help of the Ayala Automotive Holdings Corporation, a company under the Ayala Corporation headed by the automobile aficionado Fernando Zobel de Ayala who is the President and Chief Operating Officer of the company, Volkswagen will be opening their first two sales and service centers in Metro Manila. The first one will be in Bonifacio Global City in Taguig and before the year end another one will be located at the Greenfield area in Mandaluyong.
Tagged as the People’s Car during the 60s up to the late 90s because of their iconic beetle car model, Volkswagen promises during their launch at the Stock Exchange ground in Makati that they will be offering new lines of car models that will cater to the needs for space for family, flexibility for work and of course complementing to the personality of the future Volkswagen car owners.
As mentioned by the Executive Vice President of Volkswagen AG, President Commercial Operations of Greater China and ASEAN Mr. Weiming Soh he is looking forward for the successful return of Volkswagen in the country which now caters to the changing needs of modern automobile owners which they revealed the first wave of car models including Touareg, Touran, Tiguan, Phaeton, Golf, CC, Polo Hatchback, Beetle Cabriolet and the Beetle Classic.
With the two new sales and service centers in Metro Manila which will give future car owners and of course switchers will have the chance to experience the latest Volkswagen cars. Just like Volkswagen did when they had their two-day People’s Car event at the Greenbelt in Makati where their showcases six of their cars for everyone to see and enjoyed the modern look most specially the 21st Volkswagen Beetle that I really admire during the launch. And for the Cebuanos, Volkswagen will be opening their first regional store by the first quarter of 2014 in Cebu City.
