All the viewers of The Buzz were all shocked when the show announced that today (October 13) was the last episode of Toni Gonzaga and Charlene Gonzales-Muhlach in the show. The said announcement was done before the closing of the show where it was revealed via VTR that showing the memorable episodes and segments of Toni and Charlene with The Buzz.
Both Toni Gonzaga and Charlene Gonzales-Muhlach became The Buzz hosts in 2010 until today where they replaced Ruffa Gutierrez, and Kris Aquino. Meanwhile, KC Concepcion ended her hosting stint in the showbiz talk show in 2011. During the absence of Toni and Charlene, Gretchen Barretto and Iza Calzado fill in for them respectively.
With their three years as The Buzz hosts, Toni and Charlene became emotional which according to them they will be missing the weekly conversation with Boy Abunda who is the host of the show since it 1999. Both of the female hosts showcased their talent in interviewing fellow celebrities and go deeper with issues without offending their feelings. Aside from being the hosts of the show, Toni Gonzaga and Charlene Gonzales-Muhlach gave their opinions in certain issues on Buzz ng Bayan and of course their fashion statements which everyone look forward to every weekend.
With Toni and Charlene leaving the show, The Buzz will be opening their doors together with Boy Abunda with new sets of co-hosts plus explosive and exclusive showbiz news which everyone should look forward next week. But up to date there’s no confirmation yet on who will be the co-hosts of Tito Boy and what will be the changes next week within the show and will it be the same title.
The Buzz premiered on ABS-CBN last July 1999 with Boy Abunda, Kris Aquino and Cristy Fermin.
