After being away from the Kapamilya network, Amy Perez and Roderick Paulate signed contract with ABS-CBN and will be hosting the new season of The Singing Bee. During the contract signing ABS-CBN big bosses including Charo Santos-Cocio, Cory Vidanes, Direk Laurenti Dyogi, Ging Reyes and Railey Santiago were their to join them on their return with the Kapamilya network.
The Singing Bee runs 5 seasons under the hosting of Cesar Montano that started in 2008 and lasted until 2010. During the season 1 it was a 30 to 45 minute show that airs on ABS-CBN Primetime Bida until it was replaced by I Love Betty La Fea. And due to public demand the show aired on Saturday and Sunday night with new twist from the second season until the forth. And lastly during the season 5 it became the pre-prod show of Maalaala Mo Kaya every Saturday.
Now that the wonderful tandem of Amy Perez and Roderick Paulate that we enjoyed during the Magandang Tanghali Bayan (MTB) days it will surely great to see them hosting this singing game show. As the Season 6 of The Singing Bee will be opening soon on ABS-CBN there will be new gimmicks and exciting rounds that viewers and contestants will surely enjoy.
