After more than a month of being separated with her more than four year boyfriend Billy Crawford, Nikki Gil finally broke her silence during the Ikaw Na segment of Boy Abunda in Bandila. According to her it was not clear to everyone but she mentioned that it was difference in values that’s the reason of their relationship not working. She mentioned that after breaking up she haven’t talk to Billy and she’s happy and finally moved on. Her learning from the break up was she learned to know her limits, finally give up and move away.
On the issue of third party, Nikki answered the question that it was not her business anymore. But she affirms that she still believe in love and more this time. She’s still hoping to find her love in the future which according to her that concept of love is very simple and that’s trust within it.
In regards of her latest project on ABS-CBN which is Maria Mercedes, fellow actor Jason Abalos mentioned that Nikki was considered as an underrated actress. According Nikki it’s ok with her to be considered than overrated which she’s enjoying her craft including acting, singing, being a host and MYX VJ and now dancing at the Supah Dance of ASAP 18. Coming from an off beat character from Mundo Man ay Magunaw, she will be playing the role of Mystica in the Philippine remake of Maria Mercedes.
According to Nikki Gil she enjoyed playing off beat or kontrabida role because she can do everything. It challenges her as an actress. During the blog conference, she mentioned that the Pinoy remake will give everyone the understanding of the role of Mystica instead of hating her immediately. Maria Mercedes will be airing soon on ABS-CBN’s Primetime Bida.
