After taking a break for a season where Shakira and Usher took their places on the turning chairs of The Voice, Christina Aguilera and CeeLo Green return for The Voice Season 5. Their showdown with Adam Levine and Blake Shelton for getting the best voices in the US will start on September 30 and will be telecast through AXN at 8:10PM. It will be a Monday and Tuesday telecast and hosted by Carson Daly.
For four seasons, three of championship spots were dominated by Blake; Jermaine Paul (Season 2), Cassadee Pope (Season 3) and Danielle Bradbery (Season 4). The remaining slot was with Adam having Javier Colon of Season 1 as the champion. Christina and CeeLo haven’t won in the competition. But having a break for one season they will surely have that energy to select the right contestant during the blind auditions and the battle that will be their strong contender for the live show until the finals.
Aside from that, fans of Christina will surely enjoy the image of their favorite diva in The Voice who just came from her successful concert tour. With their return it will be once again a game for all and not to mention who will be bringing home the US$100,000 and a recording contract as ‘The Voice’ which not only the Americans will be watching but the whole world.
