One of the teleserye presented at the recent ABS-CBN 60 Years of Philippine TV trade launch in One Esplanade, Andi Eigenmann will be starring as the lead actress of the TV adaptation Galema: Ang Anak ni Zuma. Directed by box office director Wenn V. Deramas, Galema is one of the iconic mythical comic book character created by Jim Fernandez.
The character of Galema was originally played by the veteran actress Snooky Serna in the big screen in 1985. Galema is one of the two children of Zuma a demigod and the son of the Aztec serpent god Kukulkan (Plumed Serpent). The other child of Zuma is Dino, a mythical creature with a human body but a dinosaur head. All three characters were presented at the Aliwan Komiks. Galema is a young lady with a twin two headed snake that rests on her shoulder like her father but hers is albino. Her twin two headed snake were hidden through her long ponytail hair.
Meanwhile, doing a fantaserye is not new to Andi who did the phenomenal TV adaptation of Rod Santiago’s Agua Bendita as the twin sisters Agua and Bendita Cristi. Andi will also be reuniting with Matteo Guidicelli who was one of her leading men in Agua Bendita in the teleserye Galema: Ang Anak ni Zuma that will be airing on ABS-CBN very soon.
