To add excitement to the viewers of ABS-CBN who are looking forward for the latest teleserye of Andi Eigenmann, the Kapamilya network officially unveiled the official poster of Galema: Ang Anak ni Zuma. This marks the return of Andi in television after the success of Kahit Puso’y Masugatan and her phenomenal fantaserye Agua Bendita. The poster showed Andi as Galema with her twin two-headed snake rested on her shoulder that she inherited from her father Zuma who is an Aztec god. Galema: Ang Anak ni Zuma will be airing on ABS-CBN this September.
Also present in the official poster is a silhouette of Zuma which will be included in the story to give more details on the journey of Galema to let the viewers understand more of the character. Galema is one of the iconic mythical comic book character created by Jim Fernandez and played by the veteran actress Snooky Serna in the big screen in 1985. Galema is one of the two children of Zuma a demigod and the son of the Aztec serpent god Kukulkan (Plumed Serpent). The other child of Zuma is Dino, a mythical creature with a human body but a dinosaur head. All three characters were presented at the Aliwan Komiks. Galema is a young lady with a twin two headed snake that rests on her shoulder like her father but hers is albino. Her twin two headed snake were hidden through her long ponytail hair.
The TV adaptation will be directed by the box office director Wenn V. Deramas and it is one of the 60 Years offering of ABS-CBN. Also starring Meg Imperial, Sunshine Cruz, Sheryl Cruz, Carlos Morales, Divina Valencia, Lito Legaspi, and introducing Derick Hubalde as Zuma.
