In line with the finale week of the top-rating teleserye Huwag Ka Lang Mawawala that tackles in women empowerment, Judy Ann Santos gave The Buzz an exclusive interview with Boy Abunda to discuss further details on why the show ended earlier. Judy Ann mentioned that it was her personal decision to end the show earlier but she wanted to stay on third timeslot until the finale. According to her it was very hard decision that even led to the set back of other shows which for her she wanted to end the show where many of the viewers can actually watch it. She also said that it was worth the fight which the management of ABS-CBN listened to her.
Judy Ann believes that Huwag Ka Lang Mawawala made an impact to the viewers most especially to the women about their rights and how they should protect themselves against violence. She said that women empowerment is the core value of the story which she embraces this advocacy. Huwag Ka Lang Mawawala is different from her other movies and teleseryes which it focuses more on the relationship of a mother to her son and a woman to herself. She mentioned that she wanted to have a Kravmaga session in women communities and organizations in order to teach them self defense.
In the final week of Huwag Ka Lang Mawawala, Judy Ann mentioned that she will really miss the show and working with the production team and co-stars. She proudly said in her interview in The Buzz, the final week of Huwag Ka Lang Mawawala will be intense and worth the watch which will be a big turning point the her character as Anessa including Sam Milby who’s playing Eros and KC Concepcion as Alexis.
In regards with the question if she will be staying or transferring, Judy Ann just answered the question she wanted to have a short break to rest and to be with her family.
