After her announcement a month ago and presentation at the ABS-CBN Trade Launch, Amalia Fuentes will no longer pursue her role in the much anticipated teleserye of ABS-CBN entitled Muling Buksan Ang Puso. Amalia should be joining Julia Montes, Enrique Gil, Enchong Dee and Susan Roces on this drama series that will be airing soon on ABS-CBN. The said announcement of Amala Fuentes’ resignation was made in TV Patrol last night (May 27) along with the official statement of the ABS-CBN Management regarding the sudden decision of the veteran actress.
The reason for Amalia’s resignation is because of the creative differences between her and the production of Muling Buksan Ang Puso. Which also includes the conflict on shooting time for the teleserye, with this she decided that she will no longer pursue her comeback project in ABS-CBN. Meanwhile, in an official statement that Bong R. Osorio Head, ABS-CBN Integrated Corporate Communications released last night in TV Patrol is says:
“Ms. Amalia Fuentes has resigned as actress for the upcoming teleserye, Muling Buksan ang Puso, due to creative differences with the production team and the challenges and demands of regular taping schedules. Her resignation has been accepted and her replacement will be announced soon.”
Before Amalia resigned in the show, Diamond Star Maricel Soriano backs out in the teleserye Bukas Na Lang Kita Mamahalin last January due to production conflict. Amalia was announced together with Susan Roses to be the older layer of the story and will be playing a vital roles in the younger cast of Muling Buksan Ang Puso.
