This marks the box office success of It Takes A Man and A Woman after surpassing the earnings of A Very Special Love and You Changed My Life which were the first two films of Sarah and John Lloyd that was shown in 2008 and 2009 respectively.
Directed by Cathy Garcia Molina and written by Carmi Raymundo, It Takes A Man and A Woman continues the love story of Laida Magtalas (Sarah) and Miggy Montenegro (John Lloyd) after four years they become mature in terms of relationship and outlook in life unfortunately they needed to part ways. Laida coming back from a work abroad will return to FlipPage, the publishing company where he first met Miggy. Also Miggy, returns to the company as part of the editorial board now with a new girlfriend named Isabel Laurel played by model turned actress Isabelle Daza.
For Laida who was deeply hurt with their separation, how will she work now that the person she loved so much will be working with her together with his new fiancé? For Miggy, seeing Laida again with her charm and wit that overcomes so many challenges in their relationship will it make him think twice for a second chance? It Takes A Man and A Woman offers the kilig at the same time the maturity of the two characters that will surely cater to all ages.
