The long wait is finally over; Samsung officially unveils the Samsung Galaxy S4 in the Radio City Music Hall in New York in the evening of March 18 (US Time). In their Un Packed event of the Galaxy S4 they revealed that their latest flagship smartphone for this year that will be following the success of Samsung Galaxy S3 and Galaxy Note II in the consumer market is a 5-inch screen and Android powered smartphone. It has a thickness of 7.9 mm thick and weighs 133 grams. It looks like the S4 is similar to the dimensions of Note II with screen size bigger.
The Samsung Galaxy S4 will be available in two colors; Black Mist and White Frost in a polycarbonate case. Now has a 4G LTE for mobile internet connection aside from the usual 3G, and GPRS. It also has a infrared LED feature that can be use as remote control which I think will be applicable in other LED and LCD screen TVs aside from Samsung. It will be available in 16, 32 and 64 GB internal storage with an external memory card slot that can contain up to 64 GB storage.
The device now has a 13 MP rear camera and 2MP front camera which there will be more functions to be announced on the photo and video enhancement that consumers will enjoy. Having the tagline Life Companion, the Samsung Galaxy S4 now has a infrared gesture, temperature and humidity sensors making the device compliment to the lifestyle of every person who will be using the device. Now has an S Voice Drive that let you connect with your Bluetooth for incoming calls while navigating on the road plus it is voice activated. It also has a S Health to keep you on track with your exercise and diet for the healthy living mobile users and it goes with some accessories to make it work well.
Additional to the Smart Stay feature is the Smart Pause which is a sensor that if you look away from your phone the video you are watching will automatically pauses and continue when you look at it again. For those who use the phone for work it has a Knox feature that ensures security and separation of your personal from business applications, email and other files on the S4.
Lastly the Samsung Galaxy S4 has an S-Translator that can translate written words up to 9 languages including Chinese, French, German, Italian, Japanese, Korean, Portuguese, Spanish, and English.
