In line with the release of the Percy Jackson: Sea of Monsters on August 2013, 20th Century Fox officially releases several photos of the 2nd installment of the Percy Jackson & the Olympians book series to be adapted on the big screen. Logan Lerman will be reprising the role of Percy Jackson, a demigod son of Poseidon – the Greek God of the Sea. Directed by Thor Freudenthal, Percy Jackson: Sea of Monsters also stars Alexandra Daddario, Brandon T. Jackson, Jake Abel and Sean Bean.
Percy Jackson: Sea of Monsters continues the journey of Percy who is now reunited with Annabeth (Daddario) at Camp Half-Blood along with Tyson (Douglas Smith), Percy’s half-brother who is a Cyclops. This time they must recover the Golden Fleece that can save the camp and their half goat/half man best friend Grover (Jackson). With their power; Percy with the power that can control of the waters, Annabeth with strength and warrior skills that she learned from her god-mother Athena and Tyson with resistant to fire and possesses powerful strength they will do anything in order to fulfill their task.
Percy Jackson: Sea of Monsters will be available in 3D and regular format and distributed by 20th Century Fox. It will be showing in theaters nationwide by August 15, 2013 and worldwide by August 16.
