After working with Michael Bay in two Transformers movie; Transformers: Transformers in 2007 and Transformers 2: Revenge of the Fallen in 2009 with Shia LaBeouf, Megan Fox will be joining the cast of film reboot of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles which will be on production very soon. The reboot of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles is also a project of Bay and set to be released on 2014.
The said confirmation was done by Michael Bay in his blog where he briefly says: “TMNT: we are bringing Megan Fox back into the family!” Megan Fox will be playing the role of April O’Neil who was a television reporter for Channel 6 News that we all know in the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: The Animated series that is wearing a distinctive yellow jumpsuit with white boots who became the human friend to the Ninja Turtles named Leonardo, Donatello, Raphael and Michelangelo and their mutant mouse leader Splinter.
Right now the film reboot of the TMNT is currently on pre-production status where Bay is working on the cast. The live-action computer generated (CG) hybrid film will be under Paramount Pictures and in the Philippines will be distributed by the United International Picture released through Solar Entertainment Corporation.
