Airing on ABS-CBN’s Primetime Bida starting February 4 after TV Patrol World, Juan dela Cruz marks the return of Coco Martin to primetime TV after the success of the phenomenal Walang Hanggan that ended on the 4th Quarter of 2012. Directed by Malu L. Sevilla and Avel E. Sunpongco, the teleserye promises a balance of comedy, drama and action that will cater to all viewers.
Juan dela Cruz also stars Erich Gonzales, Albert Martinez, Zsazsa Padilla, Gina Pareno, Arron Villafor, Joel Torre, Mylene Dizon, Jaime Fabregas, Louisse Abuel, Niel Coleta and William Lorenzo. It follows the journey of Juan dela Cruz (Coco) the son of a bantay named Amelia (Mylene) and the King of the Aswang (Albert). Had the chance to see the special 1 week episode of Juan dela Cruz at the SM Megamall last February 2 and all I can say it offers every TV viewers a story that they will truly enjoy. It shows wonderful story about family and friendship that will inspire us. Aside from that the show will never fail to give as a good laugh after action-packed scenes or heavy drama giving us that balance every night on Primetime. From all the things that the show offer to its viewers it will always go back to the main core of the story is having faith to God and doing what is good.
As Juan dela Cruz, we will see another Coco Martin that is very different from being Daniel Montegro in Walang Hanggan. It will show the versatility of Coco as an award-winning actor and how he will compliment to all the characters in the story especially to Rosario (Erich) his love interest in the story, Lola Belen (Gina) and Asion (Niel) who became his family in the story.
