Save the date, December 14 will be the big day for the iPhone and Apple users in the Philippines as the biggest wireless network company in the country – SMART Communications Inc., will be releasing the much awaited iPhone 5. There’s no confirmation yet which plan that the iPhone 5 will be available but probably it will be between the Postpaid Plan Php2, 500 to Php 3, 500 and with a lock in period of 24 months or two years.
With the Postpaid Plan Php2, 500 to Php 3, 500, SMART will surely give the iPhone 5 users a better sms and call services and of course the best uninterrupted and reliable data plan service. Right now SMART is doing a campaign online to usher the arrival of iPhone 5 under their network service – #SMARTiPhone5 hashtag on twitter.
The iPhone 5 has a dimension is 4.87 inches (123.8 mm) x 2.31 inches (58.6 mm) x 0.30 inch (7.6 mm) with the weight of 3.95 ounces (112 grams) making it 18% thinner and 20% lighter compare with the iPhone 4S. It has 4-inch Retina display with 1136-by-640 resolution or 326 pixels per inch (ppi). It is available in two colors Black & Slate and White & Silver giving you that metallic sophisticated feel.
It has 225 hours standby time, 10 hours on WIFI connection, and 8 hours talk time, 3G or LTE. While for multimedia purpose it has the same features like the 4S having iSight Camera 8 megapixel, autofocus, tap to focus, LED flash, backside illumination sensor, five-element lens, face detection, hybrid IR filter andƒ/2.4 aperture.
iPhone 5 introduces Lightnight a smaller version of the 30-pin that is more convenient to use along with the Apple EarPods that goes with storage travel case for easy keeping. But with the rumor about the near field communication (NFC) technology it is not included on the iPhone 5. iPhone 5 runs on A6 chip that promises faster process and will be using Nano-SIM.
