After the success of The Reunion, young actors Enchong Dee, Julia Montes and Enrique Gil reunite in their first ever Metro Manila Film Festival movie produced by Quantum Films and MJM Productions entitled The Strangers. The teen horror film directed by Lawrence Fajardo is to be distributed by Star Cinema beginning December 25, 2012 and one of the eight (8) official entries for the 2012 MMFF.
The Strangers follows the family of Max (Enrique) and Patricia (Julia) who was stranded in a remote province believed that was haunted by the aswangs. At first for Max and Patricia it was just a myth until they discovered that they were the one being preyed by the dark creatures. Dolfo who was once a victim of the aswang that killed her fiancé is back with vengeance and wanting to save the family of Patricia. But it was not easy for Dolfo after being tagged as the aswang by the villagers.
How will Dolfo fulfill his task to save Patricia whom he fell in love with and her family after being included in the urban legend as one of the dark creatures in the village? Will Patricia believe and put his faith in him that can save her and her family?
The Strangers also stars Janice de Belen, Cherrie Pie Picache, JM de Guzman, Jaime Fabregas, and Johnny Revilla.
