As always ABS-CBN manages to offer a very inspirational Christmas Station ID and campaign entitled Lumiliwanag ang Mundo sa Kwento ng Pasko. ABS-CBN Christmas Station ID 2012 just like several years ago focuses on the modern day heroes and how they reach out to fellow Filipinos who are in need. We saw how the Kapamilya Network brings inspiration and hope after Typhoon Ondoy in 2009 with Bro Ikaw ang Star ng Pasko, empowering Filipinos in 2010’s Christmas SID with Ngayong Pasko Magniningning Ang Pilipino and reaching out to Filipinos abroad with the Da Best Ang Pasko Ng Pilipino campaign in 2011.
Now in the ABS-CBN Christmas Station ID 2012: Lumiliwanag ang Mundo sa Kwento ng Pasko, it shows how Filipinos stood up during the monsoon rain that affects major areas in the country. It showcases modern heroes showing selfless love and courage to reach out to others in the middle of life and death situation. Together with the power house of Kapamilya stars they will give voices and life to all the stories of every modern heroes and selfless love this Christmas.

The theme song of the ABS-CBN Station ID 2012 entitled Kwento ng Pasko was performed by the country’s brightest singers – Sarah Geronimo, Martin Nievera, Zsa Zsa Padilla, Vina Morales, Billy Crawford; the Champions Angeline Quinto, Yeng Constantino, Erik Santos, Jed Madela, Christian Bautista, Bugoy Drilon, Marcelito Pomoy, Jovit Baldivino; the Sessionistas Aiza Seguerra, Richard Poon, Juris, Princess, Sitti, Kean Cipriano and Bamboo; kid singers from ABS-CBN Star Magic; X Factor Philippines Grand Winner KZ Tandingan, Daniel Padilla and Piolo Pascual. This year’s Christmas anthem was written by Robert Labayen, ABS-CBN’s Vice President of Creative Communications Management with music by Marcus and Amber Davis.
