In line with the release of his newest album and now under Star Records, Jericho Rosales will officially launch his album Korona this Sunday on ASAP 2012. Aside from showcasing his talent in singing, Jericho also showcase his talent in writing his own song for his album where as 7 out of 9-tracks was all originals.
Included in his 9-track albums are original songs including “Kasama Ka;” “Halaga;” “Pusong Ligaw,” which was co-written by Butch Elizalde; “Bumuhos Man ang Ulan” that was produced and arranged by Gabriel Valenciano; “Dahil sa Pag-ibig,” which was the theme song of Jericho’s latest drama series of the same title where he co-starred with Piolo Pascual; another version of “Paboritong Tag-ulan” where he had a duet with OPM singer Julianne; and its carrier single “Paboritong Tag-Ulan,” which was written by Jericho and composed by album co-producer and Star Records’ audio and content manager Jonathan Manalo.
While the other two songs are Freddie Aguilar’s “Kamusta Ka Aking Mahal” and Sugarfree’s “Makita Kang Muli,” which was the theme song of ABS-CBN’s 2005 drama epic “Ang Panday” that starred Jericho Rosales and Heart Evangelista.
The Korona album which was the idea of the photographer Xander Angeles’ shot of a raindrop that bounced back from the ground, which created an image of a crown. It is now available in all record stores nationwide under the distribution of Star Records for only Php 199 and can be downloaded on iTunes and www.mymusicstore.com.ph.
