After their successful tandem in Mundo Man ay Magunaw, Empress and Ejay Falcon now star in Skylight Films’ Amorosa: The Revenge that will be showing in all cinemas nationwide beginning August 29. Directed by Topel Lee, Amorsa also stars Angel Aquino, Enrique Gil, Martin del Rosario and Carlo Aquino and will be distributed by Star Cinema.
Unlike their usual project together as romantic drama, Amorosa: The Revenge brings Empress and Ejay to a suspense-horror-psychological film that will bring out their versatility in acting and portraying their roles. According to Empress it is not similar on what they usual do in their projects that is more incline to love team instead Amorosa introduces them to a different kind of characters that is dark and intense. Being compared with other artists who accepts horror film projects, Empress doesn’t mind on comparison or being tagged with titles as long as she is happy with the project and she likes her role which is playing the character of Sandra in the film.
Meanwhile, Ejay is very happy working with Empress again in Amorosa where they already had that bond since they started their tandem since Guns and Roses and Mundo Man ay Magunaw. According to him, they will see new Empress and Ejay in this film different from their usual love team on TV.
Amorosa: The Revenge follows the character of Rosa played by Angel who transferred to a pension house with her two sons Amiel (Gil) and Amiel (del Rosario) after a tragic accident. But instead of getting the peace of mind they wanted, Rosa was haunted by a ghost in the pension house and even his son. While the character of Sandra played by Empress plays a very important role in the loves of the three characters that will bring a drastic change in their lives that might break or make them strong as a family.
Amorosa: The Revenge was produced by Skylight Films and distributed by Star Cinema in all cinemas nationwide beginning August 29, 2012.
