Diary of A Wimpy Kid: Dog Days is based from the two Diary of A Wimpy Kid books namely The Last Straw and Dog Days. It follows Greg (Gordon) and Rowley (Capron) preparing for summer vacation. For Rowley his type of summer adventure is to be with his family as they enjoy it in a public pool which for Greg it is not that fun. But in order to save himself from the father and son bonding that includes no TV and computer he is forced to join Rowley even though it is very hard for him.
And hoping to bring out the sense of responsibility to Greg, his father gave him a dog which Manny calls Sweetie. Greg will be discovering lots of things this summer aside from friendship and responsibility which he will be seeing on his summer vacation with Rowley and of course having his brother Rodrick (Bostick) more challenging.
To make it more exciting here’s a top from Rowley on how to enjoy your vacation and surviving grown ups including your parents.
