A week after the announcement of The X-Factor Philippines Top 20, the singing reality show of ABS-CBN hosted by KC Concepcion finally announces the assignment of the mentor/judges. The boys (Jeric Medina, Michael Pangilinan, Anton Paolo Antenorcruz, Gabriel Anciano, and Kedebon Colim) were assigned to Martin Nievera and will be having their mentoring at Balai Isabel in Batangas. The girls (Allen Jane Sta. Maria, Jerrianne Mae Templo, KZ Tandingan, Abigail Mendoza, and Angelica Prado) were assigned to Charice and their residence will be in Bellvue Manila. The groups (TakeOff, Sweet Bliss, Daddy’s Home, 5th Avids and Lucky Girls) were Gary Valenciano who will be staying in Tagaytay Highlands. And lastly the Over 25s (Joan Da, Paulo Castro, Cristine Ledesma, Mark Mabasa and Modesto Taran) were assigned to Pilita Corales and will be having their mentoring in a mansion located in Quezon City.
Each judge must mentor their group members and will be deciding who will be their final 3 per category that will be included in the Final 12. The The X-Factor Philippines Final 12 will be the only one will be performing on stage and competing for the chance to be first every The X-Factor Philippines champion. But it will not be easy for four judges that’s why each judge invited guest judges that will help them train and bring out the best of every hopefuls making them worthy to the final slots. Guest judges include Arnel Pineda for Martin, Jed Madela for Gary, Rico J. Puno for Pilita and Cheesa for Charice.
Each contestant will be performing in front of their respective mentor/judge with the celebrity judge that they will be helping them to decide. Contestants has the freedom to select the song they wanted to perform and it will be their last chance to made it to the final 12.
