For the very first time Judy Ann Santos, Janice de Belen, Agot Isidro and Iza Calzado in one film directed by Joey Reyes entitled Mga Mumunting Lihim (Those Little Secrets). The film is one of the five finalists in the 2012 Cinemalaya Independent Film Festival and Competition under the Directors Showcase category. Mga Mumunting Lihim will be shown on July 20-25, 2012 at the Cultural Center of the Philippines, Greenbelt 3 and TriNoma Mall together will all the films included in the 2012 Cinemalaya.
Mga Mumunting Lihim (Those Little Secrets) follows the realization of three friends after the death of Mariel (Judy Ann) who left a dairy that holds her secrets, memories and emotions and Carla (Calzado), her best friend since high school became the recipient of these diaries. While Sandra (Isidro) and Olive (De Belen) who complete the quartet reunite with Carla in order to celebrate the memory of Mariel. Despite of the warning Olive and Sandra not to read Mariel’s diary in respect of her memory Carla reads it and discovered series of shocking secrets that every page revealed to her. With all the hidden emotions, stories and comments about each one of them and even their comments to each other changes the perceptions and beliefs of the friendship that they hold and cherished for so long. How it affect the remaining three friends? Will it put end on their “sisterhood” or will it be a reason to be strong?

Joey Reyes will give a new taste on the term friendship in the film Mga Mumunting Lihim (Those Little Secrets). Together with Judy Ann, Janice, Iza and Agot, they will represent different kind of personalities and character on how it will add spice in the story and will surely make movie goers relate themselves to them. Reyes is a mutli-awarded director that receives recognitions from award giving bodies including Metro Manila Film Festival, Star Awards Film Festival, Young Critics Circle Awards, URIAN Awards, Gawad Tanglaw Awards, FAMAS Awards, Asia Pacific Film Festival. Aside from being a director he is also a screenwriter, playwright, essayist and educator.
