Honestly speaking before I thought it was a typo when Nokia releases that their latest Nokia 808 PureView has 41 megapixel camera and thanks to NokiaPhilippinesfor giving me chance to have a one on one experience of their latest 41-megapixel camera phone. It now out in all Nokia Stores nationwide with the suggested retail price of Php 26, 550 and available in black, white and my favorite stylish red.
Unlike the latest Lumia series the Nokia 808 PureView under the Belle series like the Nokia 700, 701, and X7 models with Symbian Operating System and popularly known as Symbian Belle. It’s look like the Nokia music phone known to be as Nokia 5800 XpressMusic because of the thickness and dimension including the one line keypad. The unit offers a sharp and detailed image in its 4 inch touch screen where you can easily view all the photos and videos taken with the 41MP Carl-Zeiss camera that has Xenon flash.
Nokia is not lying when they say it was 41 MP, it offers a superb image quality along with the high-definition (HD) video that is perfect for those consumers who extended the use of their smartphones as a handy camera or video cam where they can just slip on their pockets when there’s something worth taking photos and videos. Talking about slipping on the pocket, it only has a dimension of 123.9 x 60.2 x 13.9 mm and weighs 169 grams not mention it has better grip. So for those who are hiking, on higher areas or taking macro shots you can easily take photos without worrying it will fall off and with a Nokia Wrist Strap Black that it is included on the package owners can carry it anytime.
It has an Automatic, Scenes and Creative where consumers can easily enjoy taking photos with their Nokia 808 PureView. Scenes includes the usual outdoor, landscape, night mode, sepia etc, but now with Creative option it enables users to adjust the brightness, level of colors and have a Bokeh effect that can blur the background of the image you are taking picture off to add the drama and the creativeness on the photos you wanted to share with your friends. It has a 16GB internal memory and with an external memory option up to 32 GB expandable micro-SD card.
Device owners can share and upload their photos and videos via WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 3.0 pr HSPA 14.4Mbps mobile internet connection but it depends of the network provider. It also has music player and FM radio for those who wanted to enjoy the music and audio features of Nokia 808 PureView with a Dolby Headphone that is included in the box.
Also included in the box aside from the Nokia 808 PureView Dolby Headphone and Nokia Wrist Strap Black are Nokia AC-50 MicroUSB Charger, Nokia Charging and Data Cable CA-190CD, NFC info card, Quick Guide, User Guide and Product information leaflet.
