After the success of Kimmy Dora ang Kambal na Kiyeme 3 years ago, Spring Films together with Star Cinema brings back Eugene Domingo in her blockbuster role as Kimmy and Dora, the twin daughter of the business tycoon Luisito Go Dong Hae played by veteran actor and host Ariel Ureta. Kimmy Dora and the Temple of Kiyeme was directed by Bb. Joyce Bernal and written by Chris Martinez. It currently showing in all cinemas nationwide and details on international screening will be posted soon.
The sequel continues the love-hate relationship of Kimmy and Dora as sisters and this time there’s more adventure that’s in store for the both of them and with the people that surrounds them. The film will take the viewers to the roots of the Go Dong Hae family and how Luisito, their father had broken a tradition that started to haunt them. The Kimmy Dora and the Temple of Kiyeme is not just a comedy-family film but also it offers a horror-suspense theme that will add up to the spice of the movie that movie goers will really enjoy from start to finish.
During the special bloggers conference with Eugene Domingo, Bb. Joyce Bernal and Chris Matinez, they shared that before doing Kimmy Dora was a challenge they accepted in terms they relied on the help of everyone who believes in the project. But now, the team is very thankful to those who now supported them especially with Star Cinema and fashion designers who actually shared their crafts for the costumes of Kimmy and Dora to make their characters more colorful and fun. Designers who helped them including Rajo Laurel, Jan Garcia, Joey Samson, Kaye Morales, Rhett Eala, Tatah Gilias, Marlon Rivera, Maxie Cinco, Ferdie Abuel, Jerome Salaya Ang, Cay Cuasay and Oz Go, through them they created two separate clothing to Kimmy and Dora and shows how one can be sophisticated and the other one as playful and of course having the rich feel as a Go Dong Hae.
