Warner Bros Pictures brings Will Ferrell and Zach Galifianakis together on the big screen with a comedy film with a political set up entitled “The Campaign”. Opening in all theaters nationwide by August, the political satire was directed by Jay Roach and also stars Jason Sudeikis, Dylan McDermott and Katherine LaNasa, with John Lithgow, Dan Aykroyd and Brian Cox.
Set in North Carolina district on an election season, long-term congressman Cam Brady (Ferrell) plans for re-election. But before the actual election he committed a major public gaffe that made him on a perilous situation and made his political opponents see a possible defeat. A pair of wealthy CEO plots to put up a rival candidate and bringing the naïve Marty Huggins (Galifianakis), director of the local Tourism Center to be his political opponent.
Watch how the charismatic Cam put on a big fight against Marty who appears to be the unlikeliest possible choice by the voters but with the help of his new benefactors’ support, a cutthroat campaign manager and his family’s political connections can lead to a big political twist.
